retreatsAll retreats are held in our home here in the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast in Australia. Set on 33 acres, and surrounded by nature, this is a place of being, and a place for "higher learning". Sometimes, when people think of "being", they balk a little, as images of monks in yellow or orange robes spring to mind, together with chanting and doing nothing. But I'd like to invite you to consider a different kind of being - one which you may already have experienced before. It's that feeling that you get when you are full flow; a state of calm and clarity, that you might have described as "being in the zone", and yet more than that. That's what you'll get here. We hold only a limited number of retreats each year, ranging from two to six people, and we also hold bespoke retreats. Click here to see our upcoming retreats. With each retreat, you'll spend time being closer to nature, and you'll have the space to simply be. We'll also have breakthrough conversations that enable you to gain clarity, and you'll experience many insights. You'll also have time to reflect. Whether you're coming for a specific retreat or not, you'll find that most people who come here like to spend plenty of time on the grounds, because here, they are able to relax, to reflect, to be themselves and to be present with themselves. We encourage and we welcome you to get involved with different normal daily activities here, that also take you into that space of being with yourself. That might be mowing the garden on our ride-on mower, weeding or planting the vegetable patch, simply going for a walk, listening to the birds, lazing by the pool, raking the leaves in the garden, or blowing the leaves off the drive. Everyone who comes is a friend, even if we may not yet have met you before. It is a place that in many ways is yours as much as it is ours. When Mathilde came, she weeded the veggie patch. Isabelle chose to go through my cookbooks, picking out recipes. Peter mowed the lawns and went for many swims in the sea, while Phil and Julie went for a daily run. All shared brunch with us at our favourite brunch place overlooking the beach, and home-cooked informal meals around a large table or on the verandah...and everyone, without exception, went away with a greater clarity and clearer choices. Whether you most enjoy the sounds of nature, showering in natural rain water, or seeing if you can spot the goanna or the wallaby, one thing is clear... This is a place for you to come home to. |
